A typical day

A homicide callout at 2am, then a day of scene work, canvassing, seizing video and interviews. Or a quieter fraud file: bank records, spreadsheets and a suspect interview you planned for a week. Every step is documented for disclosure to the defence. Court appearances, Crown meetings and case management paperwork take up a large share of most weeks.
