Three deductions on every paycheque

The CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) requires employers to deduct CPP (Canada Pension Plan) contributions, EI (Employment Insurance) premiums and income tax from most employees' pay and send the money to the government. Payroll administrators are the people who make that happen.
