A typical day
You arrive before the morning check-outs and read the night audit, the overnight accounting and occupancy report. Then the day's arrivals, the rooms that are out of order, and who called in sick. Late morning is budgets, payroll and the weekly revenue call. Afternoon is walking the building, meeting a wedding couple, and fixing whatever housekeeping found. Evening is the busiest check-in window, and you are on the floor for it. Then your phone rings at 11pm because a pipe burst or two guests are arguing in the hallway.
