A morning case conference at family court, where a judge pushes both sides toward a deal. Back at the office, a separation agreement to draft and a financial statement to review line by line. A call from a client whose ex did not return the kids on time. A letter to the other lawyer about a support payment. Some days are a full mediation session instead, and the phone still rings.
