A typical day
Most days are not event days. You are on email and calls: venue holds, caterer quotes, a speaker who needs a flight changed, a sponsor who wants better signage. You update the budget, chase deposits, and build the run sheet, the minute-by-minute schedule for the day itself. Then an event week arrives and you are on site at 6am, on your feet for 16 hours, fixing a dead microphone and a missing vegan meal while smiling at guests. The day after an event you sleep, then you reconcile the budget.
