A typical day

Read a 300-page environmental assessment and find the three pages that matter. Draft comments for a client on a proposed permit. Sit in on a consultation meeting with a First Nation. Research whether a provincial rule conflicts with a federal one. Most days are reading, writing and meetings. A few weeks a year are site visits or hearings.
