A typical day

Early start, often 7am on site. Reading drawings, running conduit and cable, installing panels, lights and outlets, then testing everything. Residential work means new homes and renovations. Commercial and industrial means bigger systems, bigger crews and often more overtime. Service electricians drive between calls fixing problems.
