A typical day

Arrive before the first patient, set up the operatory, sterilize instruments. Then patient after patient: seat them, take X-rays, pass instruments, suction, mix materials, take impressions, clean the room and reset it in minutes. Between patients you update charts and order supplies. Lunch is short. The day ends with sterilization and setup for tomorrow.
