A typical day

You almost never see a courtroom. A day is a share purchase agreement to mark up, a call with the other side's lawyers about three clauses, due diligence on a company someone wants to buy, and a closing checklist with 140 items. Quiet weeks exist. The week before a deal closes, you sleep in short bursts and eat at your desk.
