University science, then a 4-year professional doctorate at one of only two schools in Canada.

   High school

   Grades 11 and 12

   Biology, chemistry, physics, math.

   University science courses

   3 to 4 years

   At least 3 years (90 credits) for CMCC (the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College). Most applicants finish a full degree. In Quebec, UQTR (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières) admits straight from CEGEP (Quebec's pre-university college) into a program of about 5 years.

   DC (doctor of chiropractic)

   4 years

   Four years at CMCC (the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College) in Toronto: anatomy, diagnosis, X-rays, adjusting technique, and a final year treating patients in the college clinics.

   CCEB (Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board) exams

   Final year and after graduation

   Three parts: written, clinical skills and a practical component.

   Provincial college licence

   A few weeks

   For example the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. Includes a law and ethics exam.
