A typical day

Start by checking that the instruments passed their calibration overnight. Then samples: log them in, prepare them, run them, check the control results, release the numbers. A batch fails, so you repeat it and try to work out whether the product is bad or your prep was. Late morning, a call from the plant asking whether they can ship. Afternoon, paperwork, because everything you did has to be traceable months later.
