A typical day

Wedge clay and throw in the morning while your hands are fresh, maybe 30 to 60 pieces if you are fast. Trim yesterday's work once it is leather hard, pull handles, and load or unload a kiln. Afternoons are glazing, packing orders, answering shop emails and updating stock. Firings run overnight and you open the kiln the next morning knowing some of it did not survive.
