A typical day

Start at the office, pick up a vehicle and a list of complaints from the public. Then a route: a long grass complaint, an illegal sign, a noise file from last night, a licensing inspection at a restaurant. You take photos, write notes, issue orders or tickets, and explain to people why their neighbour reported them. Afternoons are reports and follow-ups, plus the occasional court date.
