A typical day

Spring and summer: the repair stand is booked days ahead. Tune-ups, flat tires, brake bleeds, drivetrain swaps, a wheel true, then a bike out of the box to build for the sales floor. Customers at the counter asking for a quote. Fall: slower, big overhauls, e-bike diagnostics. Winter: many shops cut hours or lay off, so mechanics switch to ski tuning or other work.
