A typical day

Start around 7:30 or 8am. The service desk hands you a work order: oil change, brake job, check-engine light. You inspect, diagnose with a scan tool, quote the fix and wait for the customer to approve it. Big jobs like a timing chain can take a full day. In spring and fall, tire changeovers line up bumper to bumper. Home by 5 or 6pm, sometimes Saturdays.
