A typical day

In a treatment centre: a morning check-in with clients, one-on-one counselling sessions, a group session on relapse prevention, case notes after each one. Calls to family, housing workers and doctors. In a hospital, you see people in withdrawal or after an overdose and plan what happens when they leave. Crises interrupt any plan you had for the day.
